Janani, a 3-part online course, considers preconception, pregnancy, and postnatal care from the point of age-old methods of Prasooti by our elders. We wish to bring back the knowledge and wisdom of our grandmothers and integrate it into today’s living to give birth to a healthy new generation.

Part 3 addresses topics of preconception care including how women and men can best prepare to conceive, active management of fertility and other health problems in men and women, early detection and prevention of genetic disorders, astrology, and daivavyapashraya chikitsa related to preconception, and a discussion of some clinical cases.

This is a 7-day course of 10 hours total. Each day includes one-hour theory and 30 minutes of discussion and question and answers with the senior doctors and  Medical Directors of Vaidyagrama.
